SEND Independent
Charlotte Waller
I offer personalised guidance and support to help families and schools navigate the SEND and EHCP process with confidence and clarity. As a dedicated SEND Consultant, my focus is on promoting the wellbeing, development, and learning of children and young people by working collaboratively with families, educational settings, and other professionals.
I understand how challenging and frustrating the SEND system can be. My aim is to ease that journey - providing practical, compassionate support to help achieve the best possible outcomes for each child.
Support Services
Every child deserves the right support, but navigating the SEND system can feel overwhelming. I offer a range of services to guide and empower families, helping you feel confident in securing the best outcomes for your child.
I offer support for children and young people with ADHD or ADHD traits. Using Saline’s 5C’s approach - control, compassion, collaboration, consistency and celebration. I work with families to build understanding and promote positive outcomes.
I offer personalised support for children and young people with autism, using tools such as social stories, visual timetables, scenario cards, and proprioceptive strategies. These approaches help create a structured, supportive environment that fosters communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
With specialist training and hands-on experience supporting children experiencing EBSA and ABSA in school settings, I offer tailored strategies to address the underlying needs behind school avoidance. By working closely with families and schools, I help guide a positive and sustainable return to education.
I offer one-to-one online tuition for children who are currently unable to attend school, providing support during school hours. As a qualified teacher and experienced tutor, I work with students from Early Years up to Year 9 across all areas of the curriculum.
With over 20 years’ experience in education and a strong track record, I support Early Years, primary, and independent schools to strengthen their SEND provision - helping staff navigate the rewards and challenges of inclusive education.
“Thank you for all the support you have given over these last years. Someone who has taken us seriously and had a heart for our daughter.”
“We feel so blessed that you have been able to work with our daughter when she needed support most.”
“I’m grateful that you have been there for our son over the last challenging year. I appreciate all the planning and endless paperwork, and most of all, the care and love you have shown him.”
