ADHD Services

Navigating ADHD support can feel overwhelming, especially when you're facing long waiting lists, limited resources, and professionals who may not see the full picture of your child’s experience at home. This can leave families feeling unheard and unsure of where to turn.

In many areas, NHS referrals for ADHD assessments must come through schools or GPs and the process can be slow, with waiting times often exceeding two years. While private assessments are an option and increasingly recognised, they can be costly and confusing to navigate. It's also important to know that seeking a diagnosis isn't the right path for every family and meaningful support is still available without one.

If you believe your child may have ADHD or is showing traits associated with it, I offer a range of supportive services designed to help both your child and your family. A formal diagnosis is not required to access this support.

My approach to working with children and young people with ADHD is grounded in Saline’s 5C’s framework Control, Compassion, Collaboration, Consistency and Celebration, helping to build understanding, connection, and confidence in everyday life.

Over the past 20 years, I have worked in close partnership with schools, health professionals, family support services, local authorities, and families to support children and young people with ADHD. This experience, alongside continued specialist training, has helped me develop a strong understanding of ADHD and a broad toolkit of practical strategies and resources to support both children and their families effectively.

Bespoke Programmes

£75 per hour

These personalised sessions are tailored to your family’s specific needs, offering practical support for challenges related to ADHD behaviours. Working collaboratively with parents, children, and siblings (where appropriate), we focus on areas like boundaries, routines, conflict resolution, sibling dynamics, organisation, and recognising strengths.

Support can take the form of one-off planning or short programmes with clear goals.

ADHD Screener

£75 per hour

This comprehensive screening includes time spent with your child or young person, alongside input from parents, carers, and other relevant professionals. The process results in a written summary report that outlines any traits associated with ADHD and can be used as supporting evidence when seeking an ADHD assessment through your GP or school.

Bespoke Workshops

£75 per hour

These one-hour online workshops are designed for parents, carers, and families looking to gain a deeper understanding of ADHD. Each session offers practical strategies, relevant insights, and supportive guidance to help you feel more confident in understanding and supporting your child.

ADHD Advocacy

£75 per hour

I work in partnership with families and schools to bridge the gap between home and educational settings. Using my experience in SEND, I support families by facilitating communication, arranging meetings, sharing observations, and helping advocate for referrals and the right support for your child.
